More Layouts

I have done 2 layouts for the 1,2,3 Cybercrop Challenge. I have sent in this one.

On another note. We have just got Ella a new bed or at least the bed but not the mattress etc. Looking around for a nice bed cover. I grew up with a yuck bedroom and I really want Ella to have a beautiful room.

On more of a positive note.

Firstly just want to thank everyone who left such wonderful comments.

Here is a layout I finished for the Embellished Idol Just For Fun Section. Had to do hybrid scrap booking. I used digibrushes from Rhonna Farrer and design fruit

The photo was of the moon taken during daylight I then added all the digi elements then I equalised it and softened the image. I am very much a novice at this sort of thing. I really enjoy it.

Original Photo.

After the editing.

Here is the layout.

This time last year.

I was 19 weeks pregnant. I was due to have my main scan the next day. As usual I was always worrying. I hadn't felt the baby move. I decided I would go to my small clinic they have a very small old ultrasound machine. Deb my midwife could not find the heart beat. The old machine should have been able to. The doppler machine hadn't picked it up either but it didn't in the past either. I knew there was something wrong. I have had a previous misscarriage and the same machine showed no heartbeat at 9 weeks. Deb who is so nice drove me to the hospital and yes my beautiful baby had passed away.
My son named our little boy Michael.

Today the memory is so strong and clear of what happened. To make this worse I am meant to be pregnant now but I had lost that one too at 13 weeks even though the scan showed a perfectly healthy baby a week earlier. I knew this time almost the day the baby past.

Sorry that this hasn't been scrap related at all but I don't think I would have been as paaionate about it without the grief in my heart.

I won

I won a challenge with my 'Let Nature Inspire You' in the 1,2,3 Cybercrop. Can't wait to go shopping for my prize at Scrap Therapy

Even though I had been voted of Embellished idol last week I decided at the the last minute this morning at 8:30 am to do the layout before the deadline.
The challenge was to use no adhesives.

Here it is. Looks a bit of a mess but I think I like it. I can't sew. I would have done a lot better if I didn't decide to do it at the last minute with only an hour or so time left.

Getting Inky

There was a challenge at Whats New Scrap Chicks. We had to create a layout with something it in that had to do with postage. I had a great idea. Used heaps of Ink and stamping. I embossed for the first time too. Used the toaster because I don't have an embossing gun.

Only a few of us entered and I won the prize along with Kim. Can't wait to get it in the mail.

I started to subscribe to a really nice embellishment kit club. I love it so much. Its called Q Tea The images in the blog speak for themselves.

Here is the first layout I created with it. I still haven't used all the products yet.

I've also entered the layout into the 1,2,3 Challenge as I had almost finished it I checked out their blog and realised that my layout fell into the challenge requirements which was. No flowers, ripped paper and transparencies.

I am actually enjoying scrapping more that the Embellished idol challenge is over and also the Scrapworld one. But Scrapworld has a http://www.scrapworld.com.au/phpBB/viewtopic.php?t=1367 which I am starting on.

3 Angels Scrapping have got a monthly challenge. This months is about facing challenges. I have had a huge amount this past year. I will probably post more about it next week. I have been wanting to do a layout or canvas but have been putting it off. Now maybe a good time. I know I sound really vague.

I think I am making myself busy again. Also I love the Bons Scraps challenges too. See how I go

Thanks for looking.

Monique I saw your reply in the comments. Not sure if you will read this again but what you said is so true. Every time we finish a layout we win.
